Meaning prevails over formal beauty, and a good photograph, with the power to challenge, instruct and move us, will always be preferred to a beautiful image.
The work is that of a naturalist, documentary in essence, hence the importance given to the captions in an effort to develop the pedagogical dimension of the project.
